About these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you use this website, create an account, submit a health assessment, book an appointment, communicate with us or purchase a service or product from Southampton Travel Vaccines.

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Who may use the service

Patient accounts are for people aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate, current and complete information and only use an account that belongs to you.

If you arrange care for another person, you must have authority to do so and must provide their details accurately.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for telling us promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect patients, staff, the service or its data, or where these terms have been materially breached.

Health information and clinical care

Website content and destination guidance provide general information only. They are not a diagnosis, prescription or substitute for an individual clinical assessment.

You must provide complete and accurate information about your health, medicines, allergies, vaccination history, itinerary and other matters relevant to care. A clinician may recommend a different option, defer treatment or decide that a product is not clinically appropriate.

Do not use this service for an emergency. Contact NHS 111, your GP, 999 or an appropriate emergency service according to the urgency of your situation.

Appointments

An appointment is confirmed only when the website or our team confirms the booking. Availability can change and, where necessary, we may contact you to rearrange or cancel an appointment.

Please arrive or be available at the confirmed time. Tell us as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Any cancellation or refund conditions presented during purchase or booking form part of these terms.

Prices, payment and products

Current prices are shown on the website or before payment. The price and items confirmed at checkout or in an order are the amounts that apply to that transaction.

Payment does not guarantee that a vaccine or medicine will be clinically suitable. If a clinician cannot provide a paid item, we will explain the available next steps and any refund that is due.

Products and appointments remain subject to stock, clinician availability, legal requirements and appropriate clinical assessment.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, impersonate another person or use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

Website availability and content

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but may update, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary. Travel-health requirements can change and should be confirmed during your assessment.

Unless stated otherwise, the website design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Southampton Travel Vaccines and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us, events outside our reasonable control, or use of general website information instead of obtaining appropriate individual advice.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. A new version applies to future account registrations and transactions from its effective date; where a material change affects an existing service, we will provide appropriate notice.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes.
